Dishwasher leaks can happen from time to time and today was a great example of a cause for water damage from a failing appliance. Today’s service call for water damage clean up was from a home in South East Charlotte. As normal the water was discovered a few hours after the leak begin. Our customer Mr. Holmes is a DIY homeowner and he recently put in the dishwasher. Unfortunately when her put it in he did not know the supply line was not secure and it would eventually give way causing the standing water in the kitchen we had to take care of today. This case was somewhat server as the water did a lot of damage to the cabinets and baseboards and small sections of wall. All because of a DIY job that did not go as planned the family at this home has to wait out the heat from the dehumidifier and possibly get a new dishwasher.
