This afternoon we received a call for water restoration in Charlotte for a customer that realized she forgot to turn off the tub when she was on her way to work. This resulted in a massive amount of water damage because the tub was running for about 5 hours before she thought about it this morning. She turned on the tub to bathe before going to work but ran out before doing so because she was running late. While busy at work it didn’t cross her mind until around 12:30 during lunch when she remember and rushed home. After walking into the house, she found water running out the front door and a home in desperate need of water mitigation services. The living room, kitchen, and dining room ceiling was caved in. There was water damage to the floors and walls and much more. She quickly turned the water off and contacted us to handle the water restoration and extract the water and dry the house out.
