We received a call for emergency water mitigation in Charlotte from a customer that woke up early in the morning to a flooded kitchen and living room.  When she woke up she found herself stepping in puddles throughout the carpet in she heard the sound of water rushing into the kitchen when she approached the kitchen she noticed water damage to the walls to the baseboards to the vinyl to the laminate flooring that was buckling and of course the carpet on the steps after looking around for the source of the water she eventually realize it was coming from under the refrigerator after moving a refrigerator she realized the reason for the leak is there was a cut in the waterline that is used to get water from the refrigerator this resulted in the need of extensive water damage cleanup in there Charlotte home. The reason for a break in the water supply line to the refrigerator was probably too tedious where in tear after years of use canned heat that is causing the back of the refrigerator at times always can become brittle and rupture in certain places which can cause the need for hiring a water restoration company to clean up the water that I’m screwed because of this. I’m in process of water mitigation clean up the customer explained to us that they purchased the house about 12 years ago and this is the first time that refrigerator gave him any issues with that being said we explained that this situation of water damage is most likely caused from the old water supply line that should have been replaced.
