We received a call for water restoration at a home in Charlotte from a customer that returned home to find a water damage all of their home due to a broken pipe on the bathroom toilet. It resulted in the need for fast water damage clean up services. When we arrived we noticed water was still coming in from the bathroom and causing additional water damage to the walls in other areas of the house luckily for the customer it was the downstairs bathroom that experience the break in the water supply line instead of the bathroom that was upstairs. One of the first things we had to do as we proceeded with the water mitigation process was turn off the valve at the toilet. When we first learned about medicating in cleaning up water damage we realize that it is common for a customer that contacts us for water restoration services tonight to the simple list part to minimize the damage by turning off the water valve to prevent additional water damage. After we finally turned off the valve we started with extracting a lot of the water that built up on the first floor of the house into the kitchen throughout the bathroom into one of the bedrooms and then also went to the living room we had to do a lot of demo by removing almost all of the floor in the first floor with a significant portion of drywall and baseboards that received water damage
