We received a call for water restoration in Charlotte from a customer in the East Charlotte area of Plott Rd. The customer woke up this morning to find water slowly flowing into his living room along with the entire kitchen saturated with water damage in the entire area. Often times when responding to calls for water damage cleanup in the Charlotte area we come across customers that find their selves in the middle of a water damage crisis because of repairs they made at the home involving plumbing that was not correctly addressed and that is the case in today’s call for water mitigation services. The customer stated he installed a new faucet on his kitchen sink the night before and somehow the pipe came loose sending water everywhere throughout the night resulting in water damaged materials to the entire kitchen and portions of the living room and dining room in need of water extraction and repairs. As we investigated the cause and started the demo process  the first thing we did was turn off the water at the main after that we quickly relieved the cause of the water damage was very obvious as the pipe did not appear to be firm on the faucet.
