A customer called in need of water restoration services at her home in east Charlotte on Ludell Ln. due an issue with her water heater sending water into her home causing a large amount of water damage during the night. During the conversation we attempted to alleviate the amount of water damage that was taking place by trying to walk the customer through the process of turning the water off at the main line unfortunately she was not able and once we arrive to proceed with the water restoration process the first thing we did was turn off the water at the line. When we walk inside we noticed there was water damage everywhere the kitchen floor was completely soaked with parts of the vinyl flooring peeling up and the carpet in the living room was lifting up from its backing due to the amount of saturation from the water damage that took place during the night. We quickly went through our water damage cleanup process and started with the extraction and removal of all of the wet materials 2 help us get the house as dry and as quick as possible. You know after the demo was complete we had to put a few dehumidifiers on the first floor as well as a lot of fans throughout the kitchen living room bathroom in the hallway. With the amount of water damage that she was dealing with it’s going to take 3 to 5 days 4 the fans and dehumidifiers to run for the complete Water mitigation process to dry everything out for our customer.
