There’s nothing like the first day of school when it comes to students getting ready for their big day or parents getting ready for their first time without their children after a long summer. but today’s first day of school came with a surprise for whenever I customers on Atkinson drive in Charlotte when they realize that the water was still on in their house after waiting for the bus to arrive. The customer called us for emergency water restoration in Charlotte and advised us that they walk their daughter to the bus stop for her first day of school and typically on the first day two buses are late and that did not disappoint today but because the bus did not show up on time the customer stated that she was at the bus stop for approximately an hour. During this time the water was still running in her home because she forgot that the water was on as she was rushing to get her daughter out to the bus stop. So after some time the bus finally came and she walked into the home realizing there was water coming from under the front door then she realized at the water must have still been on so she frantically ran into the bathroom area and turn the water off but it was too late because the water damage already took place and there was so many areas in the house that needed water mitigation services she had to look online for a water restoration company in Charlotte as soon as possible. once we arrived we went to the typical demolition process that is involved with water restoration and we quickly got to the water damage cleanup process by removing all of the wet materials and extracting what we can as well as saving what we can at the same time. luckily for the customer it was only an hour as he was at the bus stop and the way the water migrated through the house it didn’t bring water damage to all areas as it may have if the water was running longer than one hour so at the end of the day this was a large water damage cleanup call but is something for the customer to learn from but also be thankful from at the same time.
