Customer contacted us today due to a leak with their water heater requiring them to seek the assistance of a water restoration company in Charlotte. The customer explained that when they woke up to prepare to go to church today they realize that the water pressure in the house was extremely low and water was not coming out of all of the faucets in the house. after walking around and making some calls and looking online to see if they can figure out why the water pressure was low they eventually gave up and got dressed to go to church anyway. On the way out the door they go into the garage to discover water damage in all four corners of the garage and leaking out of the garage into one of the rooms of the home that they did not go into as of yet as well as leaking out of the garage door. When the customer open the door they realize that the water must have been coming out of the water heater for a long time because there is a long trail of water leading down the street to the storm drain as well as the room that is connected to the garage by one wall is completely saturated because the water was migrating to that area throughout the night. The customer describe the situation in very good detail and one of the first things we told them that they had to do before we arrived to move forward with the water damage cleanup process is that they needed to turn the water off to the house if possible then we made preparations to do the same if the customer wasn’t was unable to turn the water off to stop the amount of water damage taking place at the time.
