For mitigation company in Charlotte one of the things we frequently encountered when providing water damage cleanup is a filled appliance or accidental overflows this morning we received a call from one of the most common appliances to fill and cause water damage due to a leaking water heater at a home in Mint Hill North Carolina.  The customer called us for water damage cleanup when he realized there was a large amount of water in his living room which sat on the opposite side of the water heater which was in the garage. Sometime during the day or night the water heater begin to leak on interrupted causing a large amount of water damage in the garage that went unnoticed until the customer realize it was water damage in the living room. When we arrived to proceed with the water restoration process one of the first things we had to do was stop the flow of water coming inside from the water heater to do this we had to turn off the water at the valve and remove the water heater so whatever water was remaining we stopped flowing into the house after we did this we went ahead with the mitigation process to slow down the amount of water damage that was happening.
