This morning we responded to record for water mitigation in Charlotte at home on West Boulevard that recently underwent major renovations due to the rehabilitation of the neighborhood. This was similar to a water damage cleanup call we received earlier in the week because of the type of property it was this was basically a rehabilitation property that was in distress and dramatically upgraded before suffering water damage.  What basically created this situation and the need for water restoration services at their house was of all the things that were replaced during upgrade for some reason they did not install a new water heater and the water heater basically ruptured due to old age which resulted in a major amount of water damage to a large portion of the house that was recently upgraded and now after our water mitigation services are completed things have to be repaired all over again.  This is also similar to something I mentioned about a water mitigation call we responded to yesterday. A lot of times water restoration services are highly preventable for customers. With a little maintenance or paying attention, changing a hose that needs to be changed, replacing a water heater, making sure you don’t leave the water on and much more are a few things that can prevent the need for a water restoration company to clean up water damage that could’ve been prevented.
