A customer called us this morning for water mitigation in Charlotte  to water coming from their utility room which borders the garage where the water heater is located. The customer walked into the kitchen after hearing water dripping in certain areas thinking that the Fossett was on. When she walked in she noticed water damage to the walls as if there was water Seeping into the wall somehow. After doing some looking around for where the water damage was coming from she quickly realized it was the water heater in the garage and observed the path of the water going through the utility room and also went to the kitchen she tried to get up some of the water with towels in clothing but was unsuccessful and had a look on line for a water restoration company in Charlotte when she contacted us.We arrived about 30 minutes after she called us for water restoration services and once we made it inside to begin a water mitigation process  and were shocked with the amount of water that made his way there were areas inside of the house that the customer did not know was even wet half of the living room and the complete dining room or saturated with water damage to the carpet with water damage to the walls to the drywall baseboards along with other areas in water was also coming out of the house to the seal that she didn’t even notice immediately we shut off the water to the house from the outside water valve to mitigate the amount of water Damage that can continue at this point we started with a heavy water extraction and so we got all the water out of the house then we proceeded with the demo which was very extensive due to the amount of water damage cleanup we had to provide in water damage materials that were throughout the house at the end of the day what looked like a small amount of water damage ended up to be larger than most would expect
