Depending on the severity of the water leak there are some signs that point to an emergency water mitigation issue with low pressure on the city side or water mitigation on the home owners side depending on where the pipe break occurs. We received a call this morning for water restoration in Charlotte due to a pipe burst outside of the customers home. The customer woke up this morning to water coming into the home from outside and noticed water damage effecting the walls in the front and side of the home along with water damaged floors that where completely saturated from the water slowly rushing in. For the past week they have had issues with low water pressure which is the reason we had to provide water damage cleanup services for them due to a water main break in their front yard. The need for water mitigation services could have been completely avoided but they were unaware there was an issue with the water main.
