This morning we received a call for water damage cleanup in Charlotte and at home off of Raintree street in the south Charlotte area that was experiencing water damage due to a leaking water heater in the attic. As we have said multiple times in the past one of the worst places to experience water damage is from a upper level of the home in win the water heater burst which is a frequent cause of water damage claims if the water heater is in the attic it is most likely going to be catastrophic and lead to a very very large water restoration claim for the homeowner.  That was the exact scenario we face today the homeowner stated that early in the day before leaving he thought he had a leak in the ceiling and said to himself he will take care of it later on when he gets home unfortunately after leaving his home when he returned he realize the water spot that was in the silly with far more severe and then he first thought it wasn’t just a simple thing of water damage. When he walked in the door he realized that his entire home was submerged in water with the ceilings that we caved in the globes in the lights and also in the fans were filled with water
