we received a call for water restoration this morning from a Charlotte customer on Robinson Church Rd. that was in the middle of a large amount of water damage and frantically did not know what to do. The customer advised us that when he woke up this morning he realized that the entire bottom half of his home was completely flooded due to a leak on the water supply line to his washing machine. After discovering the location he quickly turned off the water to the washing machine but that did not prevent the amount of water damage that took place because of the amount of time the water was just running and sitting there. immediately we understood this was going to be a very large issue of water damage cleanup that we needed to address quickly. Once we arrived we quickly extracted as much of the water as possible and went forward with the remainder of the water restoration process after some time we completely did all the extraction and proceeded with the demo which resulted in all of the flooring on the first floor being removed as well as a large part of the drywall on all of the walls because the amount of water in the amount of time the drywall was crumbling in multiple sections. overall this was a very very large job of water restoration that we had to proceed with but at the end of the day we were able to get everything started get the dehumidifiers and place as well as the fans and start drying the water damage in the house.
