we received a call this morning from a customer in need of water restoration in Charlotte due to a break in the water line in the master bathroom of their home. The customer’s insurance agent with State farm reached out to us initially to explain the situation that one of their insurance customers was experiencing this issue and woke up to find water all over the home and did not know what to do. we assured the agent that we will definitely reach out to the customer and be on our way to take care of the water damage cleanup needs that this particular customer may be having. when we arrived we assess the situation and talk with the customer and realize that the main reason that they’re in need of water restoration services is due to a common issue that we see with a lot of our water damage cleanup customer a bad repair or we can say a bad install of a water line when upgrading a sink in the home. as we looked at the sink we realize that the most important part is to customer turned off the water valve under the sink but when we inspected the water line to locate the source and take photos of the source of the water damage we realize that the water line was not properly connected to the faucet at this point we decided to help him with that part at least by properly connecting it after we took photos of it for insurance purposes. then we proceeded to the water extraction and got ready to proceed with the rest of the water damage cleanup in the demolition that was needed to take place.
