We received a call for emergency water damage cleanup in Charlotte from a landlord who’s condo was flooded at his home in the university area of Charlotte on vinca Circle. The customer explained that his tenant came home from work this afternoon to find the bedroom / basement area of the townhome was completely full of water with water going out of the back patio area due to a break in the water line leading from the water heater. The customer explained that the water damage appeared to be contained only to that area and there were no other areas inside of his home with water damage. This appears to be correct because of the design of the home which is three levels in the water heater was located on the basement level which was optimal in this situation. The customer explained that once the tenant notified him he made his way to his rental property and attempted to extract the water with a regular Shop-Vac but was unsuccessful when he realized that no matter how much water he got up with the wet dry vac there was so much more water left that he would need to contact a water restoration company in the Charlotte area to dry out his home.
