we received a call for emergency water damage cleanup from a homeowner in Charlotte that found himself in the middle of a water damaged crisis when he noticed that a pipe broke inside of his wall. The customer states that he was repairing a piece of drywall near his bathroom which is an interior wall but carries the waterline that he was unaware of wow repairing the drywall he cut the water line as he was removing the old drywall to replace the new piece of drywall. This resulted in the need for water damage restoration and him having to contact a water restoration company in Charlotte as soon as possible because the water was coming out at an extremely fast pace and he was unable to turn off the water from the main line. After sometime we were able to walk him through the steps needed to turn off the water at the main line. this was necessary in order to lessen the amount of water damage that was taking place at the time. Once we arrived to go through the water restoration process the very first thing we did was extract then we went ahead with the demolition of all of the materials and home that were water damaged so we could dry everything out.
