team to call for emergency water restoration in Charlotte at a home off of Mallard Creek road that was experiencing water damage caused by a stoppage in the drain that did not allow water to drain properly which resulted in the water running over the side of the sink throughout the night. The customer explained that there was a hair clog in the drain and one of the children left the sink on a slow drip by mistake which led to the water overflowing because it ran continuously throughout the night. this caused a very large amount of water damage to multiple areas of the home from the entire bathroom flooring in portions of the wall to the flooring and ceiling in the hallway upstairs and downstairs as well as wet carpet in two of the upstairs bedrooms. luckily for the customer there was no insulation in the ceilings between the first and the second floor though there was a few water stains in the drywall. During the demo process as we made steps to clean up the water that spilled we poked holes in the ceiling to ventilate it in placed our water restoration equipment throughout the necessary locations of the home.
